Error Check Directions

1. Double-click "My Computer" icon on your desktop
2. Right-click (C:) and select "Properties" on the menu.
3. Left-click the "Tools" tab in the new window.
4. Left-click "Check Now..." button
5. Make sure "Thorough" is selected and that there is a checkmark on "Automatically Fix Errors"
6. Left-click the "Start" button

Defragmentation Directions

1. Double-click "My Computer" icon on your desktop
2. Right-click (C:) and select "Properties" on the menu.
3. Left-click the "Tools" tab in the new window.
4. Left-click "Defragment Now..." button. The process will start immediately.
